Param Vir’s string quartet We Want to Live in #Peace has just been released on the Atoll label. Inspired by the Syrian refugee crisis of 2016-17, the work was inspired by a remarkable Twitter blog. Curated by composer Martin Lodge and audio recorded by Wayne Laird, the CD also features works by Jia Daqun, Martin Lodge, Michael Williams and Michael Daugherty. The music was recorded by the Polaris Quartet in Shanghai.
