Param Vir’s Opera Double Bill – Snatched by the Gods and Broken Strings was released on the Métier label in October 2024. Originally commissioned by Netherlands Opera for the Munich Biennale in 1992 directed by Pierre Audi, the Double Bill has had six highly acclaimed European productions. This BBC Studio Recording features the Almeida Opera production with London Sinfonietta conducted by Markus Stenz and was broadcast on BBC Radio 3’s Hear and Now in July 1996.
